Early Treatment

According to the American Association of Orthodontists, children should have an initial orthodontic screening at age seven. It’s important to recognize that early evaluation isn’t necessarily followed by early treatment. In most cases, we simply monitor your child’s growth patterns and intervene only if needed. Doing this allows us to get the best results and prevent future problems.

Adolescents

There are several reasons why adolescence is often the optimal time for orthodontic treatment. One of which is the development of the teeth. Patients between the ages of 11-13 have lost most or all their baby teeth and their permanent teeth have come in. This means we can go to work correcting the problems that cause a bad bite (malocclusion), improper tooth spacing, or poor alignment while getting long-term and precise results.

Adult

We’re seeing more and more adult orthodontic patients these days, and it’s not hard to figure out why. Barely noticeable appliances have been developed to give adults more discreet treatment. Many adults realize that investing in a smile makeover can have significant benefits, socially and professionally. Straightening teeth can be a vital part of that confidence-boosting makeover process.
