Standard Braces
Conventional orthodontic treatment involving standard braces (metal, clear, or gold) for both children and adults offers the most comprehensive approach to treating more complex issues ranging from crooked teeth to jaw and bite concerns.
Invisalign®
Invisalign® creates beautifully straight teeth without braces by using a series of removable, comfortable aligners – nearly invisible to your friends, family, and coworkers. Because the aligners are removable, you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment. Plus, brushing and flossing are much easier. Invisalign® provides a more flexible straight-teeth solution.
Herbst Appliance
If your child has a significant overbite, simple treatment with braces alone may not fully correct the problem. The Herbst appliance, usually in conjunction with braces, is used to help the lower jaw develop in a more forward direction. This helps realign the teeth and jaws to create a balanced bite. If left untreated during the teenage years, an improper bite may threaten the long-term health of your child's teeth, gums, and jaw development, requiring more invasive treatments like jaw surgery later in life to fully correct.

Retainers
A retainer is a custom-made appliance that holds teeth in place after they have been moved with braces or Invisalign. There are two basic types of retainers: removable and permanent to help you enjoy your beautiful smile for life.
Carriere Appliance®
If an aligned bite in less time is the goal, the Carriere Appliance® can get you there. This powerhouse accessory is used by our team to gently and effectively correct both an overbite and an underbite into a beautiful, healthy bite relationship. Palatal Expander
The palatal expander helps your upper jaw grow to better accommodate all of the incoming teeth as well as correct bite discrepancies like crossbites. It works by putting gentle pressure on your upper molars each time an activation is made. Once your doctor has decided that you have achieved the desired palatal expansion, the appliance will stay in your mouth for approximately 6 months to solidify the expansion and to prevent any regression.
Orthognathic Surgery
In conjunction with a local Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon, we offer orthognathic surgery to help with cases where significant jaw correction is needed. The goal is to realign the jaws and teeth to create improved chewing, speaking, breathing, and overall quality of life.

Early Interceptive Treatment

Phase One
The goal of Phase-One treatment is to help the jaw develop in a way that will accommodate all of the permanent teeth and improve the way the upper and lower jaws fit together.
Phase two
The goal of the second phase is to make sure each tooth has an exact location in the mouth where it is in harmony with the lips, cheeks, tongue, and other teeth. When this equilibrium is established, the teeth will function together properly. Phase two usually involves full upper and lower braces.
